[English below] Spielautos, Boote, Sitzmatten – In eigener RegieIm Regenwald am Amazonas leben die Ye’kwana. Die Mädchen zeigen euch wie sie Hängematten weben. Die Kinder aus Papua Neuguinea knüpfen eine Sitzmatte und bauen ein Spielzeugauto. Was habt ihr zuletzt selber gebaut? Was würdet ihr gerne selber machen können?
Die Kinder haben in Workshops in ihren Heimatorten gelernt, wie man Filme macht. Die Kurzfilme zeigen wir im Humboldt Forum in einem Kinoerlebnis, das euch am Leben der Kinder teilhaben lässt. Ein*e Moderator*in führt euch durch den Nachmittag.

[EN] Toy Cars, Boats, Seat Mats – In Our Own Images
The Ye’kwana live in the Amazon rainforest. The girls show you how they weave hammocks. The children from Papua New Guinea weave a seat mat and build a toy car. What did you last build yourself? What would you like to be able to make yourself?
The children have learnt how to make films in workshops in their home towns. We will show the films at the Humboldt Forum in a cinema experience that allows you to take part in the children’s lives. A host will guide you through the afternoon.
