SpeedFriending is a fun, welcoming community event designed to help people make new friends, feel a sense of belonging, and connect with others in a way that feels natural, low-pressure, and human.

Hosted by Greenhouse Gives, this event is all about creating space for laughter, shared experiences, and meaningful connection—without the expectations of dating or the pressure to perform.

We’re so excited to announce that our upcoming SpeedFriending event will be hosted indoors at Cascadia Pizza in Tempe!

🌱 What Is SpeedFriending?

SpeedFriending is inspired by the structure of speed dating, but with a completely different intention: friendship, connection, and community.

Instead of focusing on romance, SpeedFriending offers a mix of:

• playful group activities
• lighthearted icebreakers
• and a structured “speedfriending” rotation

All designed to help you meet new people, discover common ground, and build real connections.

💚 What to Expect

• A warm, inclusive, and judgment-free environment
• Fun, guided icebreaker activities to ease social anxiety
• A full-group activity that highlights shared humanity and connection
• A structured SpeedFriending rotation with conversation prompts
• Time to reflect, laugh, and connect more deeply
• Optional time at the end to mingle and exchange contact info

Participation is always optional, and you’re encouraged to engage in whatever way feels right for you.

This is a free/donation-based event. Donations help Greenhouse Gives continue offering accessible community programming, but no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.
