Speed Sparks - Queer Edition (EN)

Do you want to meet new people, but classic meetups and forced small talk aren’t your thing? Then you're in the right place!

What’s it about?

The heart of Speed Sparks is getting to know each other from a different angle and most importantly, having fun while doing it! Whatever comes out of it in the end: it's about real encounters, new connections and a great time together.

How does the evening work?

Through short, varied game rounds, you’ll get to know people in a relaxed way and conversations will develop naturally. Every 15 minutes you’ll switch games and groups, so you’ll meet several people over the course of the evening. At the end there’s time to chat and exchange numbers. Many times participants go grab dinner together after the event!

The games were specially designed for Speed Sparks and for getting to know new people. They’re interactive and really easy to play so don't worry, there’s something for everyone!

Who can participate?

Everyone who consider themselves Queer and is interested in meeting new people, whether you're looking for friendship, connection, or just a fun evening. Most participants are in their late 20s and 30s. If you're younger or older, you're welcome too, but you'll probably be the youngest or oldest in the group.

How much does it cost?

I want these events to be accessible to everyone, that's why I set a flexible price. Pay what feels right, starting from €2, to help keep them going.

Ihr möchtet neue Leute kennenlernen, aber klassische Meetups und erzwungener Smalltalk sind nicht euer Ding? Dann seid ihr hier richtig!

Worum geht’s?

Der Kern von Speed Sparks ist es, sich gegenseitig von einer ganz anderen Seite kennenzulernen und vor allem, dabei Spaß zu haben! Egal, was am Ende daraus wird: Es geht um echte Begegnungen, neue Kontakte und eine schöne gemeinsame Zeit.

Wie läuft der Abend ab?

In kurzen, abwechslungsreichen Spielrunden lernt ihr euch ganz locker kennen, denn die Gespräche entstehen dabei fast wie von selbst! Alle 10 Minuten wechselt ihr Spiel und Tisch, damit ihr an einem Abend mehrere Menschen kennenlernt. Am Ende bleibt Zeit zum Plaudern und zum Nummern austauschen. Oft gehen die Teilnehmenden nach dem Event noch gemeinsam essen!

Die Spiele wurden speziell für Speed Sparks und das Kennenlernen konzipiert. Sie sind kurz und unkompliziert, also keine Sorge, für jede*n ist etwas dabei!

Wer kann teilnehmen?

Alle, die sich als Queer identifizieren und daran interessiert sind, neue Menschen kennenzulernen, egal was sie suchen. Die meisten Teilnehmer*innen sind Ende 20 bis Ende 30. Wenn du jünger oder älter bist, bist du trotzdem willkommen, aber du wirst wahrscheinlich der Jüngste oder Älteste in der Gruppe sein.

How much does it costs?

Ich möchte, dass diese Events für alle zugänglich sind, deshalb gibt es einen flexiblen Preis. Zahle, was sich für dich richtig anfühlt – ab €2 –, um dabei zu helfen, sie am Laufen zu halten.

Die Kollegen vom Núcleo Café stellen uns netterweise ihre Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung, unterstützt das Café daher bitte mit dem Kauf von Getränken oder Kuchen 🙏

Wichtig

Falls ihr doch nicht teilnehmen könnt, sagt bitte rechtzeitig ab, damit jemand anderes euren Platz übernehmen kann.

Ich habe Speed Sparks gestartet, weil ich gemerkt habe, dass sich viele Menschen nach echter Connection sehnen, aber der erste Schritt, mit jemandem ins Gespräch zu kommen, manchmal gar nicht so leicht ist.
