Speed Mating: CIS & Trans Male Edition

Then Speed Mating at The Laird could be PERFECT for YOU!

After the last few years where 'social isolation' became the new normal, this event aims to bring CIS and Trans males together to make some new friends within our greater queer communities.

There will be plenty of informal activities and conversations which will give us all the chance to get to know each other better.

And the good news is, this is NOT speed dating, so it wont be awkward, weird or put you on the spot. So if...

- You feel you socially awkward

- Feel shy in social situations

- Consider yourself out of practice with your social skills

- You are new in town and don't know anyone

Your host Morgan Fitzgerald will really pride themselves on helping to make you feel at home during this event. Who is Morgan? They (non-binary) are a proud member of the LGBTIQA+ community, a public speaker, and a mental health advocate who cares about making a difference. Naturally leaning towards being shy themselves, they know how to ensure you feel safe and supported in any environment.

And the venue is just great! The Laird is one of Australia’s longest running gay-owned and operated venues. Formerly known as "Melbourne's only bear and leather bar", it progressed over the years to become a haven, meeting place and party space for same-sex attracted CIS and Trans males.

Arrival Time:

Please arrive by no later than 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start.

Important:

If you would like to come along and cannot afford to pay the event admission, a very small handful of tickets will still be available for those who may be experiencing financial hardship. Please reach out to me using my Eventbrite profile if this is you and I will do my best to ensure you are able to join us.

Cancellations / Refund Requests:

We have a no ticket cancellations or refunds policy. Refunds will only be considered on a case by case basis and require at least 24 hours notice to be considered.
