Speed Friending — Make New Friends Fast!

Looking to meet new people in Calgary without the usual awkward “who do I talk to?” moment?

Adventure Calgary is hosting a Speed Friending Night — built to make meeting people feel easy, natural, and actually fun.

This is for all adults. No age brackets. No cliques. No pressure.

Just a room full of people who are open to real connection; whether that’s new friends, activity buddies, hiking partners, travel companions, or just more solid humans in your life.

How it works:

We start with a relaxed welcome mingle so you can grab a drink and get comfortable.

Then we move into GAME MODE where you'll seek out others in the same room given the prompt delivered to your phone. The prompts are created by YOU!

You’ll get fun prompt cards written by other players (including yourself) so conversations flow easily; no awkward silences or forced small talk.

After that, we open things up into a free-flow social, so you can reconnect with the people you clicked with most.
