Speed Dating Sydney - Encounter Dating are hosting a Speed Dating event exclusively for singles aged 40-52 at City Extra in Circular Quay.Expect to meet eligible singles from across Sydney for a night of fun and flirtation!
You'll go on a series of mini-dates with around 15 singles of the opposite sex, with the ladies remaining seated and the guys moving tables every six minutes. You get to decide who you would like to contact further after the event through our matching platform.
Speed Dating is all about having a fun night out and meeting new people, face to face in the easiest way possible and as everyone’s single and up for meeting people IRL the success rate is very high.
This event is for singles aged 40-52, however we do allow guests to be outside of this age group by a maximum of 12 months. Please ensure you have photo ID with you to show on request.
Recommended Ages
Ladies 39-49, Men 43-53
Why do we have recommended ages? To increase the match rates at our events. We have found that the majority of ladies are wanting to date men slightly older, while the men are wanting to date ladies slightly younger than themselves.

Event Itinerary
7.00pm - Guest arrivals, welcome drink & snacks
7.30pm (approx) - Speed dating begins
9.30pm (approx) - Speed dating ends and post event socialising begins. This is a great time to get to know some of your dates on a more intimate level.
Once you arrive, make your way upstairs to the Harbour View Room where our friendly hosts will greet you and sign you in. Collect your welcome drink from the bar and enjoy some food while we wait for all guests to arrive.
Please bring your photo ID with you and either an electronic or printed copy of your ticket.
