Speed Dating Sydney CBD | Ages 30-45 | Encounter Dating

Encounter Dating are hosting a Speed Dating event for ages 30-45 at one of Sydney's finest cocktail bars, Brooksy in the heart of the CBD.

You'll go on a series of mini-dates with around 10 singles of the opposite sex, with the ladies remaining seated and the guys moving tables every eight minutes. You get to decide who you would like to contact further after the event through our matching platform.

Speed Dating is all about having a fun night out and meeting new people, face to face in the easiest way possible and as everyone’s single and up for meeting people the success rate is very high.

We allow guests to be outside of this age group by a maximum of 12 months.

Please be aware that places are limited and our events always sell out, so book early to secure your spot.

Before the event

Create your event matching profile here: encountermatch.com.au

On the events page, request access to the event you have purchased a ticket for.

After the event

Log back in to Encounter Match and select who you would like to match with. If they have also selected you, your preferred contact details will be shared with each other instantly on the My Matches page. You will have 24hrs to select your matches after the event.

Event Itinerary

7.00pm - Guest arrivals, welcome drink and food served

7.30pm - Speed dating begins

9.30pm (approx) - Speed dating ends and post event socialising begins

Once you arrive our friendly hosts will greet you and sign you in. Collect your welcome drink from the bar while we wait for all guests to arrive.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please email us at [email protected] at least 48 hours before the event to receive a 12 month credit that can be used towards a future event. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, you will only receive a credit if we are able to fill your place with someone on the waitlist.

I am older or younger than the specified age group – can I still attend?

This event is for singles aged 30-45, however we do allow guests to be outside of this age group by a maximum of 12 months. Please ensure you have photo ID with you to show on request.

Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?

Yes, we offer free name transfers as long as your friend is of the same sex and within the specified age requirement for the event. Simply email us at [email protected] with your booking details and your friend’s full name, age and email address.
