Speed dating on the Marina isn't a crowded mixer. It's a curated afternoon at Ballast Point Long Beach dedicated to Black straight singles ages 28-39 who are ready to meet their person. Think The League and Hinge, but real life. No swiping, no ghosting, no guessing if the photos are five years old. Just you, 21 other singles, and real conversation...with a twist (and breathtaking views).

Here's how it works:

• You'll go on 11 mini-dates, a few minutes each, rotating through the room until you've met everyone.
• Following the rotations wrap, you'll fill out a match form marking who you clicked with throughout your mini-dates.
• The host will analyze the results and do the reveal live, right there in the room, no waiting for an email the next day.*
• Mutual pick? That's a match. All matches get their first date on the house / the host the same day (that's right - it's already taken care of for you 😉)
• If someone has more than one mutal match, they will have them opporunity to choose which person they would like to go on a first date wuth

*Every mutual match gets exchanged 24 to 48 hours after the event via email, so even if you don't lock in a first date on the spot, you'll have what you need to make it happen and explore possibilities.
