Speechless! An Evening of Silent of Physical Comedy

You won’t see anyone trapped in a box or walking into the wind nor will you see anyone throwing buckets of confetti onto the audience. We would also prefer to eat pies than throw them. What you will see are trained comedians using silence and physical comedy to make you laugh. We promise that it will be supremely smart and profoundly stupid.

Joe Janes teaches in the Comedy Program at Columbia College Chicago and is a faculty member of The Second City Training center. He is a Chicago playwright, actor, and director. Joe’s work has been seen internationally, most notably at The Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has delved deeply into anti-clownism in Chicago with the “German” klown troupe Die Hanswurst and WNEP’s Soiree Dada.
