Another Spectrum night in Copenhagen, this time inviting Cousin, coming from Australia at his European tour, and bringing a special 4-hour set to Jolene.

Diving from starlit heights to ocean depths, Cousin’s echoes step through tempos and styles while summoning surreal sonic landscapes centered in spacious atmospherics, subterranean bass pressure and rhythmic hypnotisms.
Hailing from Australia, Cousin channels the local flora, infusing his work with their variegated vibrancy. Now found on constant rotation of both hemispheres, creating indelible memories and weaving magical dancefloor moments through clubs and festivals across North America, UK, Europe and Asia.

Synesthesis. The tactility of sonic textures. This method, and her work both as a visual artist and within the Copenhagen underground community, underwrites Vika’s sonic character as one of an exploratory nature. In a traversal of divisions between bass-centred subgenres and various interpretations of techno and leftfield, Vika’s engages through nonlinear modes. Whether through hazy dubstep and 140s, to deep, swirling, and broken techno, this is at once an offering of low-end logics and an invitation toward hypnosis.

A liminal space for connecting through music, with sound oscillating between dub-infused techno and bass-driven club music. Spectrum brings local and international artists for a boundary-pushing sound experience.
