Come join Oxbow Meadows for a Spectacular Science Saturday! Offerings are free of charge unless otherwise listed. Purchase tickets for paid programs at oxbow.columbusstate.edu9:30-10:15am: Nature Babies (0-23 months) ($5/child)
"Explore nature with music, movement, arts & crafts, and science in a safe environment with your young learner 0-23 months. These classes are designed for babies with their caregiver. "
10:00-12:00pm: Nature Play
"Nature Play is lightly guided by Oxbow Meadows volunteers and is designed to encourage children and adults to be creative while exploring nature."
10:30-11:00am: Alligator Investi-gators ($3/child)
"Investigate the world of alligators and crocodiles and go on a guided hike to search for some of our native reptiles in the Wetland."
12:00-12:45pm: Inquiry Investigator Station
"What do you wonder? Come investigate with us at our inquiry investigation station. Topic varies each week! Free. No registration required."
1:00-2:30pm: Earthquake Architects ($5/child)
"Discover the destruction of earthquakes and then become an architect by engineering a structure that can withstand the forces of nature!"
3:30-4:00pm: Nature Nook: Storytime
"Join us for our free story time where every week is a new book! Family friendly fun for all ages! Free. No registration required."
All programs subject to change.
Program Policies:
All programs meet at the Binocular station. All shows meet in Auditorium.
We can not guarantee entry without prior reservations for paid programming.
All groups of more than 10 participants require reservations and $30 deposit is required.
Adult supervision is required at all times during programs.
All programs are subject to change or cancelled due to weather.
