Species Surveys - Young Adult Ranger Work Experience at Alexandra Park

Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?

The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.

In this session, we will be surveying various species using different techniques to capture data. You will learn the importance of the species and why it is important to collect species data. Learn how we record this information, and how it influences our future work.

Please dress appopriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

This session is aimed at young people who must be able to attend and work independently. In some sessions we will be using tools and working with other members of the public, so the attendees will need to be responsible for themselves and their conduct whilst attending.
