🚨 Attention Parkinson’s Community! 🚨We’re thrilled to announce the next Beaumont Parkinson’s Support Group meeting on Tuesday, November 12 at The Apostolic Church (333 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, TX).
🎤 Special Guest Speaker:
Misty Nall, MS, CCC-SLP
Misty is a renowned Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years of expertise in treating speech and swallowing disorders specific to Parkinson’s Disease. As a child of a parent with Parkinson’s, Misty brings a personal passion to her work, having dedicated her career to helping individuals with neurological conditions. She is certified in LSVT LOUD, SpeakOUT!, FEES, VitalStim, and McNeil Dysphagia Therapy. In 2013, she also pioneered one of the country’s first Joint Commission certified inpatient rehab programs for Parkinson’s giving her broad experience in the overall rehabilitation and treatment of Parkinson’s symptoms. Misty also has presented multiple educational community seminars on post DBS rehabilitation.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about cutting-edge therapies that can dramatically improve communication and swallowing in Parkinson’s. So whether you’re living with Parkinson’s or caring for someone who is, this session will provide valuable insights, practical strategies, and a chance to connect with others in the community.
