Book one of our Epic 8 or Epic Worldcup mountainbikes and your spot at the small group test rides during the mountainbike test week. The test rides are around 45minutes exept for the one on saturday morning, this is a 3 hour ride at a social pace.

What to bring

It is essential to bring your own pedales, shoes, helmet and riding gear. Without these items, you will not be able to participate in the test rides.

Small groups?

Yes, for safety and a better cycling experience. We offer the test rides in guided group sessions up to 5 -10 people at a time.

We take the group towards the Central Station where we take the ferry to the Amsterdam North, allowing you to experience the bikes on quiet paths.

During the ride

It is important that participants adapt to the group in order to return safely and together to the shop. What does that mean? It means staying together and follow the ride leader. Communication is Key; for example; If you want to stop, just let us know and we will stop together.

Schedule

The test rides are around 45minutes exept for the one on saturday morning, this is a 3 hour ride at a social pace. The 45minutes test ride starts at 12:30 am and 3:00 pm from Wednesday to Saturday. We kindly request you to make sure to be on time so we can put your pedales on the bike and adjust your saddle to the correct height. After a short explanation, we will ride towards Central Station.

Location

The Specialized Amsterdam Shop is located at Rokin 21 in Amsterdam. We are very easy to reach by public transport. The metro stops* right in front of our door and the Central Station is a 10-minute walk away. *direction Dam

Cancellation

If you are unable to attend the test ride, please let us know by sending a message to [email protected].

Bad weather

There will certainly be moments when it rains too hard or the wind is too strong to go continue with the test ride. If the weather rating is below 5, the ride will definitely be canceled.

The day before each ride, we will make a decision based on the weather forecast in order to inform you in time in case of cancellation. We will naturally plan a new test moment.

Own risk

The test rides are always at your own risk. When you have signed up for the ride, you agreed to ride at your own risk.

Identification

Before the test ride, we will use the official KopieID app from the Dutch government to make a temporary copy of your ID. This will be deleted from the app in your presence after the ride. Therefore, we only store your information during the ride.
