This is the kind of work we love to do at Tango CLT - work that deepens your dance and helps make your foundation rock solid. Newcomers welcomed and encouraged. Experienced dancers especially encouraged to challenge yourself to grow even more in your dance! Starting from the ground up….focus on posture, balance, timing, cadence with natural movement while gaining more body awareness. Exercises and techniques to help improve your walk, pivots, free leg work and perhaps some ideas for embellishing (how, when and what).
LEADERS please join us to study the role of the follower! Your knowledge of the follower’s role and movement will help you better understand your role as a leader!
Bring flat shoes, heels (if you have them) and socks to dance in.
