Join us on June 14 at 2:00 PM at Tudor Hall for a special talk, “Grief, Celebrity, and Redemption: Edwin Booth and the Rebirth of American Theatre,” presented by historian Elizabeth M. Reese. Reese, whose work has appeared in TIME, the New York Times, Journal of the American Revolution, and C‑SPAN, specializes in public memory, family ties, and grief. She holds an M.A. in American History from Gettysburg College and is currently writing a manuscript on Edwin Booth and post‑assassination American theatre.
The talk lasts about 45 minutes and takes place at 17 Tudor Lane, Bel Air, MD 21015. Admission is $5 cash for ages 13 and older.
