Brookmere Cemetery Tour: part of Cleveland Buried History Days

Join us for a special Take a Hike tour during Cleveland Buried History Days and step beyond the iron gates of Brookmere Cemetery in Old Brooklyn. Founded in the mid-1800s, the cemetery is home to beautiful monuments, ornate family plots, and headstones that reflect the ornamentation and symbolism of the era. Many of those buried here were German immigrants and their families, whose names still live on in the neighborhood’s streets today. Discover the stories etched in stone and how this resting place continues to connect past and present in our community.

Tickets are $15 and include hot cider, cookies to enjoy along the tour and Take a Hike drawstring bag!

Guests can park along the right side of the pathway just inside the cemetery entrance. Please arrive 15 minutes early as the tour starts promptly.
