đLetâs JAZZ!đWe are very fortunate to have the wonderful Lisa Buchbinder here in Adelaide with us, all the way from Trier in Germany!
Lisa is a Lindy Hop teacher and organiser at Lindy Hop Circle Trier (Germany) and is a co-founder and organiser of the Quattropole Swing Exchange (a dance exchange between four cities in France, Luxembourg and Germany).
This is where theyâll be taking inspiration from for this workshop! Weâll be learning some fun solo jazz moves and putting them together into a short piece of choreography from 2024âs Quattropole Swing Exchange.

â You only need a water bottle, comfy shoes, and be ready to have fun!
What is Jazz dance?
Jazz dance is a vibrant African American art form that emerged during the 1920s. Rooted in the dynamic fusion of jazz music and social dance, it embodies the spirit of improvisation, individual expression, and rhythmic innovation.
