About this Event
The Dais presents a special screening of the documentary Your Attention Please which explores the impacts of social media on youth mental health. Written and produced by Sara Robin and Jack LeMay, this powerful documentary premiered at SXSW 2026 to critical acclaim. The film investigates the impacts of social media use on teen mental health, explores the lives of youth and their families, and whistleblowers at the world’s top big tech companies, and champions much-needed action to curb social media harms in the United States.
Here in Canada, the Dais is focused on similarly ensuring that policymakers and civic leaders take steps to protect young people from online harms. We invite you to join us in conversation as we bring together students, educators, mental health experts, policymakers, and creative leaders to examine how social media and screen use are shaping teen mental health in Canada, and where we go from here.
We ask that you RSVP by May 6th.
