Special Interests: A Powerpoint Presentation Party

This event will take place in the Clydeside Hall at The Briggait.

To close the weekend, writer and fandom expert Gavia Baker-Whitelaw hosts a celebration of niche interests, featuring fun quickfire presentations from GZF tablers and friends.

Gavin Peacock (the man from ICON) on long distance cycling

Sophie Bainbridge (Omipalone Press) on the TV show Supernatural

Afzal Khan (Practising Empathy in Mirrors) on British Pakistani youth culture of the 2000s

Chris Goggs (Chris Printed This) on Conspiracy theories

Gavia Baker-Whitelaw is a freelance critic and culture journalist. She also co-hosts the film podcast Overinvested, and co-edits The Rec Center, a long-running newsletter about fandom.
