About Miriam:
" Miriam moved to New Orleans for the first time in 1996 from Caracas, Venezuela when she was awarded the Koch Fellowship and the Fundayacucho - Fulbright Scholarship to attend Tulane University. After obtaining her Masters degree, she returned home to establish her own design-build firm. During this time, she discovered her passion for hospitality design through her work on the JW Marriott Caracas. She returned to New Orleans and joined the Campo team in 2003, became the Studio Director in 2008, and a Partner in 2022.
Miriam is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all projects in the studio. She is deeply involved with the local design community, women’s mentorship, and historic preservation in the city. "
