Calling all enrolled members: the committee needs your help to update our constitution! We’ll be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) to vote on the changes. The meeting will only take about 5 minutes, and your presence is really important so we can meet the quorum requirement.
Meeting Details:
Date/Time: 27th of February, 8pm
Location: Online (link will be sent closer to the time)
At the meeting, all we need to do is:
1. Have our amazing Secretary take minutes and record attendees' full names and phone number OR email.
2. Open the meeting and read out the background information on the updates (small paragraph - see the attached Notice of the Special General Meeting).
3. Read out and discuss the Special Resolution (also written on attached Notice of SGM).
4. Vote on the resolution and record the votes.
5. Confirm if the resolution is carried or denied, then close the meeting.
It should only take 5 minutes! 🎉
Why This Change Is Important:
The changes to our constitution are required to align with the new legislation that governs playgroups. This update ensures that we remain compliant with the latest regulations and continue to operate smoothly and legally.

In order to keep the meeting short, we will not be having any discussion/question time about the update constitution during the Special General Meeting unless it has already been flagged.
