About this Event

The United States Air Force is a key branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, and has long been an important instrument in supporting American national interests and policy objectives. In 2022, the USAF is also the world’s largest air force, operating some of the most state of the art equipment across the globe. What are the most pressing issues facing the U.S. Air Force, and how can it be used as a foreign policy tool?

Join us for a special event about the U.S. Air Force featuring Major General Jeannie M. Leavitt, Department of the Air Force Chief of Safety, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Arlington, Virginia, and Commander, Air Force Safety Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. The conversation will be led by expert moderator Lieutenant General (Ret.) Jack Weinstein, who served in the U.S. Air Force from 1982 to 2018 and is now Professor of International Security at the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University. This program will feature a buffet style dinner, audience Q&A, and ample opportunity for networking among participants.
