Special Event! Fundraiser for She Creates: Custom Pressed Flower Pet Silhouette Workshop

Join us to create for a cause at Miss Daisy's Gift Boutique! 25% ($13.50) from every ticket sold goes to She Creates, a Refugee Assistance Program (more info below). During this workshop your host, Mary of Sugar Moon Artistry, will provide an array of pressed flowers, faux butterflies and moths, and guide you as you transform your pet's silhouette into a work of art for your tabletop! A variety of colors of materials will be available.
Frames measure 5x7" and are brass. Your pet's silhouette will be printed as a 3x5".
TICKET SALES WILL CLOSE eod 9/7 so we can edit, print and reach out if we need any additional photos! After purchasing your ticket, please email your pet portrait to [email protected] and be sure to carefully follow the instructions on the graphic to the left! We will contact you with confirmation that we're all set with the portrait or if we need a different one. If we do not receive your photo by the 9/7 deadline we cannot guarantee we will have it ready for the event for you.
You're welcome (and encouraged!) to shop small at Miss Daisy's before/during this event! There are more than 30 local artisans with work for sale in the shop, as well as items created by women in the She Creates program.
More About She Creates:
This program is a SCSD Refugee Assistance Program that was created by the owner of Miss Daisy's, Chyloe Frank, herself! It is a training program for Adult Women Refugees that bridges a pathway for these talented artisan women and gives them the tools toward entrepreneurship. Once their projects are finished, they sell them at Miss Daisy's. 50% of the sale goes to the artisan, and the remaining goes back into the training program for supplies needed.
You are welcome to bring your own beverages (to this event only), as there won't be any food or drink for sale during this event.
Must pre-register at link provided. Your ticket includes all materials and instruction. All guests must purchase a ticket. We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
