SPECIAL COURSE - Three Principle Aspects of the Path
About this Event
SPECIAL COURSE - Three Principle Aspects of the Path
3 Mondays August 17 - 31
6:30pm - 8:30pm
with Gen Kunden
One of the clearest presentations of the path to enlightenment is a short poem called The Three Principal Aspects of the Path, composed 600 years ago by the extraordinary Spiritual Guide and founder of the New Kadampa lineage, Je Tsongkhapa.
In these brief but powerful fifteen verses, Je Tsongkhapa distills the vastness of the Buddhist stages of the path to enlightenment to three essential realisations: renunciation, bodhichitta, and the wisdom realising emptiness.
Deepening our understanding of these three principles aspects of the path will provide us with the methods we need to transform every aspect of our life into opportunities for our inner development and spiritual growth and to travel the path to liberation and enlightenment.
Gen Kunden will guide us step by step through these three deep insights: renunciation, bodhichitta and emptiness, based on the commentary by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in his book, .
This course is presented over three Mondays, as an introduction to the Foundation Program class. Everyone is welcome to attend – particularly those who are interested in a deeper study of Buddhist teachings.
For those of you interested in joining the Foundation Program and diving deeper into Buddhist teachings, this course is for you.
$15 drop in | $40 for full course.
