Join us for this special class session to learn the Trickeration - a challenging vintage jazz routine choreographed by Norma Miller in the 1930s. This routine was inspired by the chorus line dancers at the Apollo Theatre, and was used by Norma Miller as an audition piece for her dance troupe. It’s full of classic vintage jazz steps, with lots of tricky transitions and fun rhythms throughout. Please note there is no performance associated with this class session - our focus will be on learning the jazz steps and working on our rhythm and quality of movement without worrying about a performance! For those looking to join our fall routine, this class will be a great way to brush up on intermediate-level vintage jazz.
