Special Characters is a Northeast Pennsylvania jam/funk/improv trio built around funky grooves, extended instrumental exploration, and a playful spy-movie sense of style. Featuring Sammy Ciravolo on guitar, Mike Allen on drums, and Tristan Haraschak on keyboards and flugelhorn, the band mixes tight musicianship with loose, danceable energy designed to keep the room moving.
