3-Day Flamenco Baile Workshop with Adrián Santana
Adrián Santana, direct from Spain, at Theatre Flamenco Studio in San Francisco. Learn Garrotín with a hat and Guajiras with a fan with this outstanding guest artist.
Schedule — October 12, 13 & 14, 2026
The same schedule applies Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday:
- Beginner — Garrotín with hat: 6:00–7:30 PM.
- Advanced — Guajiras with fan: 7:45–9:15 PM.
Each class lasts 90 minutes, with a 15-minute break between levels. Registration closes when capacity is reached.
Prices & payment deadlines
All deadlines are in Pacific Time (San Francisco). Prices are per person, in USD, plus Eventbrite fees shown at checkout. Your place is confirmed when payment is completed.
Full 3-day course — one level
- Early Bird — $150: complete payment by September 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
- General — $165: October 1 at 12:00 AM through October 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
- Last minute — $180: from October 10 at 12:00 AM until the first class on October 12, 2026: 6:00 PM for Beginner or 7:45 PM for Advanced.
Each full-course ticket includes October 12, 13 and 14 at the same level (three 90-minute classes). To attend both levels, purchase one course ticket for each level.
Single class / Drop-in
- General — $65 per class: available now; pay by October 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
- Last minute — $70 per class: from October 10 at 12:00 AM until the selected class starts: 6:00 PM for Beginner or 7:45 PM for Advanced, on October 12, 13 or 14.
Select the date and level you wish to attend. There is no Early Bird discount for single classes. All tickets are subject to availability. Complete payment before the applicable deadline to receive that price.
Important notes
- No refunds, credits, transfers or make-up classes unless the workshop is canceled.
- No changing classes, levels or days after registration.
- Eventbrite payment only — no Venmo, PayPal or cash.
- No filming during the workshops. Theatre Flamenco will share a video if Adrián allows us; it will be available the following week to allow smooth transitions between workshops.
- Doors open when the previous workshop finishes. Please allow for a delay and wait outside if you arrive early.
- Arrive ready to dance; dressing room space is limited.
- Please leave the studio promptly after class.
- Street parking only. Please allow time for San Francisco traffic.
- No guests inside the studio; family and friends must wait outside.
- If you do not feel well, please stay home. A Zoom arrangement may be possible only if Theatre Flamenco receives your request in time.
Adrián Santana
Born in Málaga, Spain, Adrián Santana began his dance training with his uncle, Pepito Vargas, and continued to study at the Conservatory of Dance in Málaga where he trained in Flamenco, Danza Española, and regional folk dancing. He was awarded first prize in choreography at the “Málaga Crea” and the recipient of the 2nd place prize at the XIX Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco in Madrid with his piece, “Siempre me pasa lo mismo”. Adrián Santana has performed in company pieces by choreographers including, Aída Gómez, Concha Jareño, Manuel Liñán, Daniel Doña, Margaret Jova, Carlos Chamorro, Rocío Molina, and was featured in Carlos Saura’s Flamenco Hoy directed and choreographed by Rafael Estévez and Nani Paños. Known for his flawless technique in performance, Adrián is also admired for his ability to create magic with his use of manton and castanets.
