Join us Wednesday January 14th at Lucky's 13 from 12:00 - 1:00 to hear from presenter Rosalie Asleson!
Rosalie Asleson will present about the Spearfish Museum Project. Johanna Meier DellaVecchia has proposed to donate the Meier house, buildings and property, including the Dolls at Home museum, to become the Spearfish Museum. Spearfish needs a Spearfish museum to showcase the history of Spearfish from the beginning to the present. It will be for the community and visitors. With both the enthusiasm of the community and donations by the community, it will likely take four to five years for the museum doors to open. Rosalie was born, raised, and educated for 16 years in Spearfish and has lived here most of her life. She was the Spearfish High School librarian for 23 years. She was a member of several professional organizations and served on their boards including Spearfish Planning and Zoning and Spearfish School Board. She still serves on the BHSU Friends of Music board and is a member of the Grace Balloch Friends of the Library.
