About this Event

Let's Thrive Together and Get Ready to Shine at the Festival of Inclusion!
The Women's Voice DLR welcomes you to Speak Up! We encourage women to build their speaking skills while connecting with others in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Whether you already have experience in public speaking and want to improve or simply would like to become more confident expressing yourself, this is the perfect place to start.
What to Expect:
  • Confidence-building activities
  • A supportive and welcoming environment
  • Tips for public speaking and storytelling
  • Opportunities to share your experiences
  • Fun conversations and community connection
  • A chance to meet new people face-to-face

Come along, speak your mind, and let your voice shine!

The Speak Up! public speaking workshops are interactive, free community events organized by Women's Voice DLR in partnership with the Southside Partnership DLR Women's Programme. They provide a safe, welcoming, and relaxed environment designed specifically for women to develop communication skills, share storytelling tips, and overcome the fear of public speaking.

Workshops are held periodically at local community hubs across the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown region. Frequent host locations include the Dundrum Area Office (off Main Street, Dundrum) and the Furry Hill Community Centre in Sandyford.
