We are returning to our First Tuesday in-person events at the public library (Yay!) but NOTE:-the new start time is 6:30 pm
-the new location is the St. Boniface library branch, right across the Provencher Bridge at Provencher and Tache. Parking is available.

Speaking Crow is a space that values diversity, creativity, and encouragement. Whether you do spoken word or page poetry, whether you have published widely or you just started writing, we can't wait to hear your poems.

Marjorie Poor is a publications editor for Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning, the editor of Prairie books NOW, and a fiction editor at Prairie Fire. Her poetry has appeared in Prairie Fire, Vallum, Contemporary Verse 2, and at Theatre by the River’s annual fundraiser, Wine & Words. She lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty 1 Territory. She is the author of Voices [That] Haunt Us (JackPine Press, October 2024), a collection of 10 five-line centos on themes of loss, grieving, and solace.
