The Museum of Flying is proud to announce the return of our Guest Speaker Series with noted aircraft expert and author, Michelle Evans. Evans will give a presentation on the legendary North American X-15 rocket plane at 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 11th in the Museum Theatre, giving attendees an in-depth look at the world’s first manned hypersonic aircraft. Three X-15s made 199 flights from Edwards AFB during a successful nine-year program that began in 1959, and the modified X-15A-2 still holds the world’s ultimate speed record of more than 4,500 mph.Noted speaker and author Michelle Evans is founder and president of Mach 25 Media (www.Mach25Media.com), and brings a wealth of Aerospace experience to her many projects and presentations.
