On Wednesday, October 5, Silicon Valley Rainbow Rotary is pleased to host Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Julie Emede. She’ll discuss how being a member of the LGBTQ+ community affected her path to becoming a judge and its impact on her life on the bench. Judge Emede will also highlight LGBTQ+ trailblazing cases and judicial officers. Judge Emede is also interested in hearing from Rotary members about how the court can serve them better. (Please note that Judge Emede cannot discuss any individual or pending cases.)
Our October meeting will be a hybrid meeting via Zoom or in person at the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center (938 The Alameda, San Jose, CA).
