SHS Principal (and SMC member) Tim Kenney will be our speaker and tour guide on Wed., Jan. 21st. His topic will be A Tour of Shorewood High School (What’s New Since You Were There Last). Find out how technology and new ideas have transformed classrooms, libraries, science labs and teaching methods at our high school. Find out the biggest challenges these days to the high school’s mission (Gum chewing? Poor penmanship? Unpolished shoes?)
As you know, our normal schedule for SMC Meetings is drinks/gathering at the Hubbard Park Lodge at 6:00, then dinner 6:30, then the speaker starts at 7:00. On the 21st, however, immediately post dinner, attendees will head to the High School, to get Mr. Kenney’s guided tour. If you cannot attend the dinner, but still want to go on the tour, park (your car or bike) in the SHS main parking lot, and meet just before 7:30 at the main doors to the administration office (the new addition to the high school’s main building). The guided tour will start promptly at 7:30, so do not arrive late.
