Old boy of Minster Grammar School, Southwell.A humourous talk about local Nottinghamshire history with anecdotes from my career in journalism. i worked on the Nottingham Post's bygones magazine for more than 20 years covering various subjects from Nottingham's past: the winter of 1947, the blitz, royal visits, local pubs, local war heroes, city history etc.
