ABOUT - Andy Smart - Retired journalist - print/radio (I still review musical theatre for the Nottingham Post), author of several books on local history and football. Old boy of Minster Grammar School, Southwell.
A humourous talk about local Nottinghamshire history with anecdotes from my career in journalism. i worked on the Nottingham Post's bygones magazine for more than 20 years covering various subjects from Nottingham's past: the winter of 1947, the blitz, royal visits, local pubs, local war heroes, city history etc.
