We welcome ASD children ages 4-16 and siblings for this free creative movement and dance party to celebrate summer together! In partnership with Spring Forward for Autism and Fitness on Fifth, we are thrilled to offer a fun and engaging creative movement program! Using song and choreography cues both verbal and non-verbal, this sensory sensitive program will encourage creative expression and the joy of dance and music!
Dance Buddies will guide children in this experience as well! Children can wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and costumes are welcome. No footwear needed, we plan to dance barefoot! Lighting and volume levels will be adjusted and lowered to meet the needs of our sensory sensitive children! As always, siblings are welcome to attend!
Parents or caregivers are encouraged to allow their children in the dance area on their own, seating is provided on site.
