About this event

🎃 Who says Halloween and sustainability can’t go together?

An old shirt becomes a costume. A used jar becomes a lantern. Decorations get another year in the spotlight. With a little imagination, we can keep the fun and cut the waste!

Join Human Impact (Sustainability) Toastmasters for a morning of inspiring speeches, fresh perspectives and good company, themed “Give Waste a Fright. Give the Planet a Treat!”

Whether you want to become a more confident speaker, share your passion for sustainability or discover what Toastmasters is about, we’d love to welcome you.

Meet our keynote speaker: Andrew Simon

Andrew from Canada brings 25 years of speechwriting and speech coaching experience, including coaching business leaders, founders and C-suite executives.

His achievements include:

• Winning first place at the World Individual Debate and Public Speaking Championships
• Drafting more than 100 TEDx talks
• Creating the world’s first all-in-one public speaking training app

Speak with conviction. Lead with presence. Create impact.

A cause close to your heart deserves a voice that helps others care. Come learn alongside fellow speakers and discover new possibilities for how you communicate.

Our Halloween sustainability theme also invites us to rethink everyday choices. How can we reuse more, waste less and inspire others to do the same?
