NEW: Speak Easy Farm (1214 France Street) will be hosting food waste collections on Wednesdays from 7am - 11am (to catch the before work/early risers) AND Fridays from 2pm-7pm.Please bring your FROZEN food scraps: fruit and vegetable scraps, eggshells, nut shells, tea bags, coffee grounds, plain pasta or bread (no meat, no bones, no dairy).
They will have bins for you to empty your frozen scraps into. If you do not see bins, please do NOT just leave your scraps.
Please observe program hours:
Wednesdays from 7am-11am (yes, early)
Fridays from 2pm-7pm
Please do NOT drop off early or late.
Bring your food waste in a paper (can be torn into pieces and left in bins) or compostable bag or bring your scraps in a reusable container (strongly encouraged). Please empty all containers. Please do not leave trash behind.
NO MEAT, NO DAIRY, NO OILY FOODS, NO BONES.
