Nathan Hyland Walker graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in 2012. He has worked in kitchens including The Fog Island Cafe, The Fog Island Grille, Vescio’s, Pizza Boys, and The Tap Room. He now works as head chef for the residents of a memory care facility in New York. Nathan and Julia Rose Lewis co-authored The Velvet Protocol (Knives Forks and Spoons Press in 2022). His poems have been published in Marsh Hawk Review and Pamenar Magazine.
Julia Rose Lewis is the author of Phenomenology of the Feral (Knives Forks and Spoons Press 2017), High Erratic Ecology (Knives Forks and Spoons Press 2020), and The Hen Wife (Contraband 2020). James Miller and she co-authored Strays (HVTN 2017). She and Nathan Hyland Walker co-authored The Velvet Protocol (Knives Forks and Spoons Press 2022). She has published the pamphlets: Zeroing Event (Zarf Poetry 2016), Exhalation Halves Lambda (FLP 2017), How to Hypnotize a Lobster (Fathom Books 2018), Archeology and the Beast (Luminous Press 2018), Miscellaneous (Sampson Low 2019), NAG (Gang Press 2019), and Holding Patterns with Paul Hawkins (Beir Bua Press 2021).
Eileen R. Tabios has released over 60 collections of poetry, fiction, essays, and experimental biographies from publishers in 10 countries and cyberspace. In 2022 she will release the poetry collection Because I Love You, I Become War; a book-length essay Kapwa’s Novels; and her second French book, Double Take (trans. Fanny Garin). Her 2021 books include her first novel DoveLion: A Fairy Tale for Our Times and first French book La Vie erotique de l’art (trans. Samuel Rochery). Her award-winning body of work includes invention of the hay(na)ku, a 21st century diasporic poetic form, and the MDR Poetry Generator that can create poems totaling theoretical infinity, as well as a first poetry book, Beyond Life Sentences, which received the Philippines’ National Book Award for Poetry.
