SPARKLE & SASS POP-UP SHOP: Sweetpea's Wardrobe Vault Sale at RETHINK

For one day only, 4/13 at RETHINK, we’ll be holding a sale for the Twin Cities to come by and peruse the wares of a few of your favorite locally-based burlesque babes as they empty their closets. The stash includes items from , , ....and !

That's right! Sweetpea has gone through her 20+ year stash of fabrics & trims, vintage clothing and lingerie, pinup pieces, go-go gear, corsets, red-carpet gowns, a few beloved leather items, KF theme outfits, street clothes, and for the newbie or sentimental – a few of her early burlesque babe pieces! Sizes range from 0-8, though materials in items are perfect to upcycle into bras/panties/panel skirt belts for anyone. 8 huge Rubbermaid tubs are making their way to RETHINK for you all to have first picks before they go online to the masses.

Deeva Rose, Head Mistress of the will also be there, and encourages current (and future) students and performers to come by and pick up options in time for the showcase.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A PERFORMER to stop by and look or shop, both Sweetpea's Vault Sale AND the RETHINK upcycled designs! All are welcomed and encouraged. We are committed to keeping the magic of fabric going (and not to the landfills). Think materials for kids’ costumes, outfits for parties, prom prettiness, boudoir outfits for that shoot you’ve always wanted to do, vintage dresses and hats for Spring… Come and be inspired. We'll have , to provide upcycling/franken-crafting advice and ideas to pieces that catch your eye. Sweetpea & Deeva Rose will also be there to encourage ideas for converting pieces for burlesque purposes!

Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win a 1-hour costume consult/direction session with Kristen or a 1-hour mentoring session with Sweetpea! Each entry will also have access to our poll to help determine what upcycling workshops we can provide to local performers/students. Tickets are not required (it just helps us know how many to expect), so just show up and bring friends!
