Spark your child’s imagination with this free hour-long workshop designed for kids ages 6-12 with a presentation and then hands-on related activity!
This month features Ruby Barrientos, a first-generation Salvadoran American interdisciplinary artist from Reno, NV, utilizing their unique artistic style, Nuwave Mayan. This style incorporates their Salvadoran Mayan ancestry and heritage, to create socially relevant works that blend traditional techniques with contemporary forms. Ruby will be teaching the foundations of their creative process through drawing to ignite participants’ creativity.
