This magical journey will transport kids to the realms of their favorite Disney characters, allowing them to explore various art techniques and materials while fostering creativity and imagination. *Optional: Single Day, 3 Day Pass, Full Class Pass *
What to Expect:
• Weekly Themes: Each week, we will delve into a new Disney story, from classic fairytales like Pinocchio and Snow White to modern favorites like Frozen and Encanto.
• Creative Techniques: Children will experiment with a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, using materials & mediums such as oils, pastels, watercolor pencils, and gouache.
• Character Creations: Kids will create their own renditions of beloved Disney characters, design magical settings, and craft stories that bring their artwork to life.
• Skill Development: The class focuses on developing essential art skills such as color blending, shape recognition, fine motor coordination, and spatial awareness in a fun and engaging environment.
• Interactive Play: Activities will include interactive storytelling, group projects, and games that promote teamwork and social skills.
Highlights:
• Princess and Hero Days: Create beautiful scenes from princess movies, craft magical castles, and design heroic adventures with characters like Elsa, Ariel, and Simba.
• Adventure Awaits: Dive into the adventurous worlds of Moana, Toy Story, and The Lion King, creating vibrant art pieces inspired by these exciting tales.
• Villains and Sidekicks: Explore the fun of Disney's most famous villains and beloved sidekicks, creating dynamic and imaginative artworks.
Materials Provided: All necessary art supplies will be provided, including paints, brushes, paper, glue, scissors, and more.
• Ages: 5-8 years old
• Dates: Mondays in October, November, December - 10/21, • 10/28, 11/4, 11/18, 12/2, 12/9.
• No Classes: Veterans Day 11/11, Thanksgiving week 11/25.
• Time: 3:30-5 pm
