Spanish Sip & Social Tertulia: Monthly Immersive Café

Sip & Social Spanish Tertulia is a monthly evening gathering where adults come together to practice Spanish, discover Latin culture, and meet interesting new people — all over a glass of wine, a cup of tea, or cool beverage. Every evening includes a fun cultural activity (Mexican Lotería, music challenge, conversation games, trivia) followed by guided group conversation.

This is not a class. It's a social experience with Spanish at the heart of it — relaxed, welcoming, and fun.

Each session is facilitated by Claudia Garcia, a Mexican-born Spanish instructor with 8+ years of experience.

All Spanish levels are welcome — total beginners included.

Activities for September & October sessions:

• 🃏 Mexican Lotería — traditional card game with Spanish vocabulary and conversation prompts
• 🤔 ¿Cómo se dice...? — guess the Spanish expression from an English description
• 🍬 Dulces Mexicanos — try traditional Mexican sweets and describe them in Spanish

YOUR HOST

Claudia Garcia is a Mexican-born Spanish instructor with over 8 years of teaching experience, currently based in Toronto. She bring language to life through culture, conversation, and genuine connection — because the best way to learn Spanish is to actually enjoy it.

Through her brand , Claudia's goal is to create spaces where adults can practice Spanish, discover Latin culture, and meet interesting people — with refreshments, games and fun!

Please arrive within 15 minutes of your ticket time to ensure a moment to settle in.

Event space is wheelchair accessible on the main floor.

Washroom is not wheelchair accessible, located downstairs in shop basement.
