Spanish River Athletic Park Arbor Day Tree Planting | Volunteers (4/25/25)

Community Greening & the City of Boca Raton need your help as we add 40 new shade trees along the walking path at Spanish River Athletic Park in Boca on Arbor Day 2025 - Friday, April 25th from 3:30-5pm.

Community Greening will have all of the necessary tools, as well as gloves and water (though feel free to bring your own), there will also be DJ on-site to keep things fun. Please wear closed-toed shoes, attire that can get a little dirty, and a hat/sunscreen.

Event begins at 3:30pm. Estimated finish around 5pm.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE IN ADVANCE. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The planting will take place around the walking trail. There will be signage to guide you onssite the day of the event.

These new trees will help provide valuable shade for runners/walkers, as well help with stormwater drainage and improving air quality over their lifetime.

Please keep in mind that this event might finish before the time scheduled.
