Solas - Alone (1999)
🎞️Directed by Benito Zambrano, the film explores the lives of a mother and daughter and their struggle for survival and happiness. Both of the women in the story are portrayed as alone (sola, plural solas), each in her own way.
🎥 A must watch film; Solas, is a profoundly moving and beautifully acted portrait of human resilience showing how unexpected kindness can offer a lifeline to someone trapped in a cycle of anger and loneliness.
✨Join us on this great Movie Night! This is a collaboration between the Consulate General of Spain in Hong Kong, Spanish Chamber of Commerce HK, Mexican Chamber of Commerce HK and Spanish World HK, the only officially accredited Spanish academy in Hong Kong by Instituto Cervantes.
