SPAK: Catalyzing a Paradigm Shift in Albania's Pursuit of Justice

In Albania's ongoing quest to strengthen the rule of law, the enduring specters of corruption and organized crime loom large. Officially established in December 2019, the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has emerged as a beacon of hope amidst Albania's democratic landscape. Its commendable track record is marked by a plethora of indictments, targeting high-profile officials for the first time in decades.

We turn to Prof. Assoc. Dr. Fabian Zhilla, a distinguished scholar on the study of corruption and organized crime in Albania and currently SPAK's Chief of Staff.
