? Friends, we have a family in need — more importantly, we have a baby who needs us.Beautiful little Paisleigh, just 2 years old, is fighting a battle no child should ever face. She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). After a period of remission, this terrible disease has returned.
There is hope. Paisleigh has been accepted into a breakthrough clinical trial at Seattle Children’s Hospital — an advanced T‑cell therapy that could give her the chance to simply be a toddler again.
But while most parents celebrate milestones like learning to share or saying new words, Paisleigh’s parents are instead facing the overwhelming reality of travel costs, accommodations, and the financial strain of getting their daughter the care she needs.
They wrote:
“As parents, we would move mountains for her. We are asking for help because this is one mountain we cannot climb alone.”
So let’s lift this family the way our community always does.

Below is the family’s heartfelt plea.
Our hearts are breaking as we write this, but we are holding on to hope that God will show us a miracle.
Our beautiful daughter, Paisleigh, is only 2 years old. She should be worrying about which toy to play with next, learning new words, and laughing without a care in the world. Instead, she is bravely fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) — and after enduring more than any child ever should, her leukemia has relapsed. After her first fight just over a year ago, 3 cycles of chemo, 5 treatments of radiation a day for 5 days, then a 24 hour a day chemo drug through the Hickman line for 5 days, had a week break cleansing chemo in preparation for a stem cell transplant from her brother. Which brings us to this, she has relapsed.
Hearing the word relapse was devastating. It felt like the ground disappeared beneath our feet. We thought we were moving toward healing, toward a normal life again. Instead, we were told our sweet girl has to fight even harder.
There is hope, God has opened a door for us.
Paisleigh qualifies for a breakthrough clinical trial at Seattle Children’s Hospital using an advanced T-cell therapy. This treatment is designed to help her own immune system recognize and fight the cancer. Unlike traditional chemotherapy, this therapy is less toxic, offering a gentler option for her small, growing body after everything she has already been through. This trial represents a new and promising path — one that could save her life, and countless others.
We are incredibly grateful that her medical care is covered, and that this option even exists for her. However, the reality is that this fight comes with overwhelming costs that are not covered:
Flights to and from Seattle (we are from Ontario Canada)
Long-term accommodations near the hospital
Food and daily living expenses
Transportation and everyday necessities while away from home
This is not a short visit. It means leaving our home, our support system, and our normal routines for an extended period of time — all so our daughter can have the chance every child deserves: to live.
Paisleigh is strong, loving, and full of light. She smiles through procedures, cuddles her favorite stuffed animals, and shows courage far beyond her years. She doesn’t understand cancer. She only knows that her parents are there, holding her hand, promising her that she is safe and loved.
As parents, we would move mountains for her. We are asking for help because this is one mountain we cannot climb alone.
Every donation — no matter the size — helps ease the burden so we can focus on what matters most: being by Paisleigh’s side and helping her fight for her future. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page means more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read Paisleigh’s story, for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers, and for helping give our little girl the chance to grow up, laugh, dream, and live the life that any 2-year-old deserves.
With gratitude and hope,
Nathan & Mavi
