Spacelab are proud to present a brand new house music night called 'Taste The Bass' which aims to bring back the spirit of the early Emporium days serving a quality mix of deep, soulful and dubby house grooves.
We have secured the services ,as our new resident DJ, Sean McCabe of Good Vibrations Records who is one of the most prolific DJs and producers in the world. This will be Sean's first residency in his native land for over 15 years.
Alongside Sean as resident will be Dave Jones a veteran of the South Wales club scene and co producer with Sean on their Motion Seven projects.
Every quarterly event Sean and Dave will be joined by a local quality house DJ and this time NFY Radio aka Neil Young
The ethos of the night is to bring a good value for money basement vibes in one of Cardiff's most comfortable smart clubs Boho on St Mary's Street. The more mature clubber will know this venue in the 80's as Cha Cha's and the 1990's as Po Na Na.
We, at Spacelab, have waited patiently for the right space to bring you an evening installed with a Martin Audio rig and intelligent lighting and reasonable bar tariffs, cloakroom and clean and tidy toilet facilities in an intimate venue.
The evening will run from 9pm til 3am.
