About Space To Play
Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Space to Play embodies the spirit of musical exploration, embracing a philosophy that transcends genre boundaries. Formed by a collective of seasoned musicians, the band thrives on creativity and artistry, inviting listeners on a journey where the music takes center stage.
At the helm is Matt Banta, a passionate singer-songwriter with an impressive discography of six albums, recorded with bands (Blue Moon Ghetto, Thousand Houses), and as a solo artist. His previous work with Blue Moon Ghetto, which achieved remarkable success with 20,000 records sold independently in the Midwest, laid the groundwork for his dynamic musical journey. Joining him are the talented Clint Thomas on bass, Kevin Thomas on guitar, and Scott Evans on drums, each bringing their unique influences and skills to the mix.
Producer and drummer/percussionist Dana Murray adds an extra layer of creativity, ensuring that every sound is polished and vibrant. Together, this lineup is dedicated to excellence, striving to push the boundaries of their artistry with each performance.
As the first act signed to the newly established Omaha Music Group, Space to Play is poised to make waves in the independent music scene.
