Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Sundowner - Perth

The week of January 30 - February 3, 2023 will have a series of events and activities as we bring together the broader community with a focus on a Sustainable Future in SSA.

Curtin University and the Australian Space Data Analysis Facility (ASDAF) are hosting the first Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Sundowner in Perth to start the new year, with Professor Steven Tingay of the Curtin Institute for Radio Astronomy and industry partner Nova Systems sharing how the industry partnership will deliver a prototype passive array radar system, which can locate and track satellites and space junk orbiting Earth.
